Today, we’re excited to share that Delta Air Lines has entered into an agreement with Neuron to better understand its in-flight connectivity and digital experiences. Neuron’s AI-powered QoE management platform is now live on more than 750 Delta aircraft.
This partnership supports Delta’s free Wi-Fi initiative, which the airline announced last year. To ensure its free Wi-Fi meets customer expectations, Delta began working with Neuron to get deeper visibility into its in-flight connectivity (IFC) QoE and utilization on each aircraft.
“We want to transform Delta aircraft into the ultimate platform for digital engagement and discovery, and that requires fast, reliable in-flight Wi-Fi,” said Glenn Latta, Managing Director of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity at Delta Air Lines. “This partnership underscores our rigorous approach to innovation that requires we analyze several inputs both internal and external, to deliver the best experience possible for customers.”
With Neuron, Delta can gain insights into how its Wi-Fi is working for its customers, the factors impacting performance, and take proactive steps to continually improve its in-flight connectivity and customer experiences. As a result, the airline can ensure it delivers fast, free Wi-Fi that its customers can rely on.
“Airlines want to deliver the best in-flight connectivity and entertainment, but most have little to no actionable intelligence for decisions that can directly impact passenger’s digital experiences,” said Benny Retnamony, founder & CEO, Neuron. “Neuron provides Delta with visibility into additional aspects of the connectivity lifecycle, including how the airline’s in-flight connectivity directly influences overall customer satisfaction and NPS. We look forward to our continued partnership.”
